yes! seminar JUST got cool...before this I was kinda in the back of my mind wondering whether i was just not cool enough for st john's....like, because I can't appreciate the Iliad, am I not smart enough? But the Odyssey is SO much better...and it's the same translator (Lattimore) and I finally see the beauty of it. And we had a fun seminar, and I said something, and the class was like, dude, no. And then we were talking about it, and the tutor mentioned something, and the discussion finally came around to my point of view. And that was just awesome. I know that's not really the point...the point is in the rhetoric or whatever, but it was cool nonetheless.
