I stole this idea from
Carly...
The things I've learned At College
*Sharing a room with two other people is easy...as long as you have good headphones
*Always eating breakfast, lunch and dinner is a good idea...snacks are expensive
*Midi's are there for our amusement. But don't throw things at them.
*Melee involves hitting people with brightly colored plastic. It's still a manly thing to do.
*Swing, Waltzing, Tangoing and Polkaing are easy when you have a partner who know what he's doing. Contra dancing is always easy
*I'm actually good at soccer
*The practice rooms are in the basement, but despite claims to the contrary, they are definitely not soundproof.
*Magnolia are trees, not bushes
*Fish are really very bloody. But some people find them yummy anyway. Others throw up.
*The beginning of "All you need is Love" is the french national anthem...which would be a fun song to sing, except for that whole pronounciation thing. Latin is easier.
*Paradigms are really important to memorize. Forget vocabulary...know those declensions.
*In greek, just about every type of word changes according to context. This makes life very very difficult.
*Mail is always exciting
*A point is that which has no part.
*Too much voldka is bad for you, and often involves trips to the hospital. Which are expensive
*Audrey Hepburn and Terry Pratchett are universally loved.
*Everyone here has read Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. And The Iliad. This makes for oddly intellectual conversations.
*Even at the school for nerds, there are people who stand out. I'm friends with them.
*If you smile big, people will make fun of you (but like you more anyway)
*You don't need the real world for anything. Except maybe shampoo.
