WELL

So. News of the day. Carly and Lisa and the fambly went up to NORTHAMPTON today. We shopped, I found a grand total of 2 not!christmas gifts. Out of the 10billion I still need to get. Woe is me. I also tried on lots of skirts. None of which both fit and were affordable. Except for the oh-so-hott little pink skirt...which I liked a lot, until I walked around the store in it, and found myself avoiding people's eyes, because I was ashamed of the shortness. I also noticed in a mirror that from a distance the pink kinda blended in with my legses, making me seem nekkid. hm. Carly got cute pants though. We also had a good dinner.
So then we went to Carly's house, and had a late night, science fiction double feature. Featuring A Nightmare Before Christmas (which i feel like i just saw...hm) and (obviously) Rocky Horror. Which I guess we now have plans to go see for real at midnight in South Hadley. Should I dress up, or not?

In other news, I finished the His Dark Materials trilogy the other day. It was amazing, and I cried. Although I thought the end was a bit sappy, and also a bit of a let-down. I thought more people should have died. ; ) It was also bad, in that I started around 11pm and couldn't stop reading. And thus did not get to bed until 2:30. And then had to get up early to go to my grandparents house. Yay. Where I learned that one of my uncles apparently has mental problems I didn't know about, and believes that he is the Messiah. Double yay! What do I do if he tries to convince me of this? What do you say to something like that? I'm actually kinda worried about it.

Anyway. I should possibly be getting to bed, especially as I think we may be going ice skating tomorrow! yay! I love ice-skating. That time last year, when I was in such a bad mood, so I avoided all the lovely people I had come with, and just skated quickly around in circles pretending I was a romantic/tragic heroine in a movie...that was a good time. Also when I went with Anna and the chase people at the Naval Academy. That was also cool, in a totally different sort of way.

so, goodnight to all!
